*Flashing is used around the base of the stack to seal and weatherproof the stack to the roof surface. It is also used where a roof meets a wall, or around a dormer window. It can be a mortar, tiled or metal flashing, such as lead, zinc or copper. Metal flashing is available in sections, made for use around a chimney stack and can be purchased in rolls, of varying widths and materials.   

*Guttering 

The purpose of guttering is to efficiently channel rain water from the roof towards a downpipe, which in turn carries it down to ground level and then into the drainage system. This system helps to stop the walls of the house becoming saturated and causing problems with dampness.
 

 Pointing Brickwork pointing or repointing is an important aspect of building maintenance. Over time mortar perishes and erodes, repointing is necessary to keep the wall or structure safe and sound, as well as to reduce damp and prevent future erosion, it also visibly improves the look of a building.  Cleaning Overtime bricks can become stained or tarnished, leaving it looking unsightly. We carefully clean and restore the brickwork returning your building to its former glory.

NCSS - Grab Hire operates 8-wheel Grab Lorries carrying 20 tonnes fully loaded which are available for daily or nightly hire. These versatile vehicles are offered as a cost efficient alternative to the conventional skip and no job is too big or too small and we’ll grab any loose material from your driveway or site.

Our fleet of Grab Lorries can be used for the delivery of aggregates and topsoil from 5 tonnes to 16 tonnes and collection of inert spoil, general waste, garden waste, mixed spoil, builders waste, green waste, hard-core, bricks, slabs and concrete.

Capable of accessing difficult areas and working over fences and walls the Grabs also allow aggregates to be delivered at the point where they are needed. Our area coverage includes the Midlands, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.

With our very own Waste Recycling Centre, we are able to serve our customers needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Our experienced drivers are fully trained and certified to operate our Grabs, and are highly skilled to collect your waste or deliver your material into the most awkward of places. We are known for our prompt and reliable service with our staff renowned for their “can do” attitude.

Lorries including a driver / operator can also be hired on a day work or night work basis or at an agreed hourly rate.
